  1. Until you came to Marghazhi Poove, it was very difficult to associate this Raaga to a song! I think you could give a couple of examples from movies released after '90 for us to easily associate the tune of the Raaga.

    charulatha.. you have mentioned every memorable cine song based on Hindolam... one addition could be the saamajavaragamana piece in the telegu classic Sankaraaabharanam .. where the song floats into a dream sequence .. aamani koyila . and what a beautiful piece of singing by SPB and SJ .. lovely light soft touches of hindolam ..
