    A little while ago I had called up Chaulatamani to congratulate her for her song sung in the latest to be released movie titled “ thirumanam enum Nikaah”. The Pallavi set in Mukhari raga which she has saved as the caller tune that I heard when I called her was really melodious & soothing. Please listen to the song. It’s just beautiful.

    I saw in Today’s Newspaper where the news appeared about the song and the movie along with pictures of nazaria, Charu ji & others who have played their part in the movie.

    I really felt proud for her . She has done a wonderful job.

Bhairavi Swarajati - Amba Kamakshi

Creating this recording and the video was a spiritual experience for me. Raga Bhairavi has magical powers and envelopes the soul. This kriti "Amba Kamakshi" was composed on the goddess at Kanchi "Kamakshi" by the great Shyama Sastri. This kriti is a call of the child's soul to the divine mother "Amba". Each and every person can relate to this call to the divine, this I truly believe. I dedicate this video and kriti to Kanchi Kamakshi Ambal, Sri Mahaperiyava and Shyama Sastri.
