Hello Madam
ReplyDeleteI had the oppertunity to attend both of your programmes yesterda(K Arangam and R.K. Swamy Hall)
The opening song Sri Ranga Pura was on a grand ascending notes with a rendition of pure carnatic
touch and melody. The subsequent krithis of panthuvarali and kamboji deserves appeciation. The concluding part with Abang Bajan rendered with full effort and energy was Highlight of the day.The supporting artists also raised to the occasion ans gave their best.
Regarding the second segment at Mylapore the kirthana presented on saastha of vasantha ragam followed by vachaspathi was pleasent at the ambient atmosphere. The song "Enna Punniam Seithen" lyric by Uthukkadu Venkata Subbier on Reethigowla was my fond. The main krithi on keeravani with alabanai ,song swaram and thala avartdhanai were also presented with full melody.
My Best wishes to you for the long musical journey.
