  1. Dear Ms.Charulatha Mani,

I hope the programme went off well, with the participation of Shri.Dr.Pappu Venugopal Rao(who,I understand is an authority in Annamacharya Kritis)and the well-known theatre personality,Shri.S.V.Shekhar as Chief Guests.I am sure you would have sung very well and would have given glimpses of your albums.I would like o know the brief details of your CD albums of this function.I am interested in rare/not sung often ragas like 'Simhendra Madhyamam','Dhanyasi','Gowri Manohari''Dhenuka''PoornaChandrica' etc.,and some of the common(to both Hindustani and Carnatic systems)ragas like Charukesi(very lilting in Hindustani),Keervani,Jenjhorti/Senchuruti
'Sindhu Bhairavi(light tukkada raga in Carnatic)/'Bhairvi(ghanarag in Hindustani)and 'Bhimpalasi'.I wonder whether I can get these raga
    recordings of "Isai Payanam".
Next time I will make it a point surely to attend your concert.

  3. Dear Ms. Mani,

I am a great fan of your uploads on youtube. While I was in India, I used to follow your program on Jaya TV. In fact, I started paying more attention towards the raga basis of commercial songs as a consequence. I am not trained in classical music but have acquired a certain "Kelvi Gnanam" about some ragams.

I was trying to identify the raga on which "Bombay Theme" by A.R.Rahman is based on. I could relate certain notes to Shankarabharanam as well as to Ananda Bhairavi. I would be really obliged if you could kindly clarify on this.

    Sincerely,
