Corporate Show for HCL
Dear friends,
I started off with a Ganesha Slokam, went into Shankarabharanam raga, sang Mozart's 25th (familiar to the Indian audience as the Titan jingle). I then proceeded to the oft-heard Bridal Chorus, "Treulich geführt" from Wagner's Lohengrin, more familiar in English as "Here Comes the Bride". From there to Gowri Kalyana Vaibhogame...the theme of this piece being "Wedding - a Lifelong Partnership".
The next piece was "Motherhood - Unconditional Love", and I presented "Enna Thavam Seidhanai" in Kapi raga, the audience were interactive and repeated some Kapi phrases after me!
I also presented "Manadhil Urudi" and "Chinnanchirukilye" with translations of important lines...
A nice experience for all of us...
Will post a picture soon,
CLM
Very innovative choices from here comes the bride to Amma with a "Kapi" and Chinnanch chiru kily - different stages of life with varying affection and attentions. Ah.. in every stage of life - paappa to paaddy - Paaddu changes the style of Paddu sari - my interpretation of "Paaddum Paddum". You make Carnatic music interesting and loveable.

Hi - I have been familiar with Carnatic songs all my life, but have just started to learn it. And I love your Isai payanam program and see it repeatedly to learn the nuance of the raagams. Thank you so much for bringing it live for us. Great Job. And you are an amazing singer. My prayers and best wishes for a successful career in carnatic music and hope to hear from you more in the future.
