My B'day

Today, the 20th of Jan is the day I appeared as a shrivelled up new-born in this world. I love my parents, who have given me such a lovely life, I love my husband Karthik, and my kids, and on my birthday I only feel sadder that I have one year less to live with these wonderful people. It feels like the clock is ticking and we have to make the most of the time at hand. I hate birthdays because it reminds me of how old we are all growing. It is a sweet warning bell..But what the heck! Everyone grows old, so I guess it's fine. Good fun...

  3. Hi CLM

    My Comments:

    Birthday is :
to rejoice and be happy as a year passes by adding more expertise, skill and techniques with sharpened talents, all to the benefit of us rasikas and towards your continual rise to fame; a better mother and family member, but NOT with a tone of regret to a number added to 'age'.

We appreciate your conventional ways blended with modern approach, your humility, before God, your near perfect voice and beautiful presentations
    of all music.

  4. Dear Ms. Mani,

I found your website accidentally while trying to find some ragas of film songs and was amazed by seeing your programme telecast in Jaya TV posted on "Youtube". How informative and கோà®Å¸Ã ®¿ நமஸ்காரங்கள் for doing this yeomen
service. Posting this on youtube is so useful for NRIs such as me who don't have the luxury of watching many Indian TV channels. I observe from your website that you have covered many ragas in the programme. May I request you
to kindly post all the episodes on you tube and create links in your website to benefit humble rasikas like me. Alternatively, please let me know if any DVD is available for sale with all your raga explanations.

    With pranams I remain.
